This was our second visit to De Loverlij and it was just as good this time. We stayed in a barn conversion next door to the main building. There was a super comfy bed, a sitting area with its own real flame gas fire, a dining area, fridge and tv and a free standing bath. There was also an outside seating area which we used to eat lunch. Sylvie the host brought us seat cushions without us even asking which was a lovely touch. Sylvie is very friendly a helpful and speaks perfect English. She gave us good advice as to how to navigate Bruges, where to park and where to eat locally. The breakfast was amazing and included in the price. We were given homemade granola with yoghurt and fruit and a great selection of really fresh rolls and croissants with cheese, ham and jams. This is such a romantic place to stay and the surrounding gardens are vast and really amazing. We will definitely be back for a third time in the future.

The host was very welcoming. The room was very nice, beautifully decorated with an artistic touch. Comfortable bed and great shower. There is a nice bar with a large selection of Belgian beers in walking distance (300m). We very much enjoyed our stay. Note: access to the room is via outdoor stairs, so not suitable for wheelchairs. However, at the top of the stairs there is a small sitting area with two chairs and a nice view - perfect for having an early morning coffee outside.

The property was spotless, for me and my partner we both enjoyed our short stay very much. A 10 minute drive from the main car park in Bruges it was perfect and very well priced.
The design of the rooms was excellent and was very warm, quiet and homely. We will be back for sure!

Clean and good breakfast. Close to big parking with charging points
Good place to stay for the locale. I was heading up to the coast near Ostend, also to Newport & Coxyde.
So ideal.
Also went to Oudenburg.
Jabekke is a small town. Not too much going on. Basic facilities but as I had a car this was not a problem.

It was ok for what we paid and I thought location to Brugge was good. The local shops in town closed fairly early so this limited us. Overall room was fine and bed was too comfy and I would have asked fro a better room view but there is an option to pay a little more fro a better view. The staff were helpful and friendly overall I would stay again

The cottage was perfect for us and the dog, with a comfortable lounge and dining area, the large glass doors at the rear flooded this area with light. Well equipped and tidy kitchen area, the bedrooms were light and airy, with fly screens and blinds and comfortable beds. The village ahs a lovely bakery which is within walking distance of the cottage and a secure playing field to run around in.
We had a fabulous day out in Bruges which was a short distance away visiting the market and main town areas. The day we had a Nieuwpoort was very bracing and we visited the military cemetery and memorials.
Tijl was very helpful and must congratulate him on the sustainable measures he takes for this business.

Filip and Annelies went out of their way to ensure that my expectant wife and I were comfortable after a rough time travelling and a long border crossing.
Their property is lovely and absolutely spotless.
After a lie in, we were met in the kitchen with a lovely homemade breakfast and great conversation.

It was not too far from the motorway but far enough that you could not hear road noise. We were 3 adults in one room and it was tight for space but fine for just one night. The breakfast was good and worth paying for,
Excellent location in Jabbeke, close to Brugge and Oostende. House is located near center of town, within walking distance. We have been coming to Jabbeke annually for 15+ years and have tried various locations before. Kastanjeboom has by far the best breakfast and the nicest hosts. Will definitely book there again next year. Highly recommended!
Absolutely recommend! Our room was very simple but had all we needed for a one night stay and it was clean and comfortable. For a budget hotel the room offer was excellent. Customer service was friendly. We didn’t have breakfast but it was offered for a small fee. There was also small sitting/relax area downstairs near reception desk 😊
We have used this hotel before as convenient stopover point on our journeys from Poland to the UK. It is what it is, a budget hotel and one has to accept standards are not as high as might be found in more expensive hotels. It is clean and reasonably comfy, the room we had on this occasion was small but adequate for an overnight stop.
Jabbeke is located in a quiet area near the water, but also nearby the city of Ostend and the city of Bruges.
We enjoyed the relaxed and quiet atmosphere of this beautiful B&B. The room was very nice and clean, we even had a terrace attached to our room. Breakfast was served in a carefully dressed room, great setting!
Location is good. Interesting having a Murphy bed and a pop up table. Good car park but have to pay for it, free parking is away from the hotel which is not the same
Beds were comfortable and the staff cleaned for our second night. Helpful staff. Good breakfast @12 euros, only continental, a bit pricey.
Best hotel / B&B of our entire trip in Belgium. Beautiful house and gardens, cute decor and rooms, a great breakfast and such a lovely owner. Able to get to Brugge by car in about 10 min. We truly enjoyed every minute.
Lovely hosts who couldn’t do enough for us, lovely warm, clean and tidy room, fantastic Flemish breakfast.
All in all a great find, we will certainly stay again when we are next in Jabbeke.
Basic hotel. Didn't give slippers to wear in the room. No wardrobes. It was far from the Bruges and if you are relying in public transport they are not a lot.
Anastasia made feel like home ,she was so friendly and professional, her warmed welcome will make me come again soon and recommend the hotel to my friends
