Lovely hotel, very reasonable price. The beds were the comfiest I have stayed in for a long while! Free parking was also an added extra. Close enough to the town center to walk. Lots of steps on the way back but we enjoyed the exercise.

We found Puerto Rico dGC to be a pleasant town, which benefits from much more sun than the north of the island we found (can be raining up North but sunny down south).
Yes, the architecture could be much better, but that is like every resort on Gran Canaria - what happens when property developers rule.
The harbour is attractive with some reasonable restaurants and two lovely informal ones on either end of the harbour (Vivaldi on the Eastern End and in the west - forgot name) it's the only one right on the harbour.
PR has a big shopping mall which I am sure shoppers will delight in, but as we hate shopping... The hypermarket is great.
We had a hired car, but the bus service seemed to go everywhere on the island. It can get crowded to popular places like Puerto Mogan (PM is massively over developed, very crowded and the market by the bus station is rubbish - avoid market days!). There is a ferry service to PM which we used on the return trip. It was a very pleasant trip; we used it to go south one day, just for the ride.
The downside is it is a long journey to get to the inland towns which are further north. As the crow flies, very short, but you have a choice of small scenic roads - loads of hairpins and some impassable if raining - or a long diversion trip up the motorway and still the small roads at the end. Plan 1.5 - 2 hours each way if driving.
Overall PR was probably the nicest resort we saw. We wouldn't go back to Gran Canaria, much prefer Lanzarote, but we had a good time; glad we went and pleased we chose Puerto Rico.

I like Puerto Rico ..
I like Puerto Rico .. This was my 31st visit so that speaks for itself
The weather is always good here in January There are a lot of steps so it would be unsuitable for people with mobility issues. The restaurants I would recommend are El Gaitero San Miguel Pinocchio
Big Daddy’s Don Quixote I would avoid staying at Porto Bello apartments

Main marina and surrounding area itself is ok but nothing to write home about .there are shops along the marina and they are rip off . My wife asked for a standard packet of paracetamol was €11.80 so she obviously didn’t purchase and bought them elsewhere for under €4.
We stayed outside of the main area in Gloria palace hotel which was fabulous

Lovely beach and a pleasant walk to Playa de Amores along a promenade. There are also 3 shopping centres beyond The Angry Birds adventure park with masses of shops, supermarkets and restaurants. The newest one Mogan Mall which has free buses from Maspalomas wasn't very busy but has free Wi-Fi. We also watched three young men playing in an impromptu group knocking out some lovely music. Funnily they were playing on the edge of town so weren't seen by many people. Pity really.

Very upscale hotel with upscale clientele, very nice rental apartments, well equipped in terms of quality, beautiful view (especially in the evening), very friendly staff as well as property owner and all this combined with a very advantageous location of the resort. The breakfast in the morning was a la carte (which means that they have changing dishes which are freshly prepared) or from the buffet. In a nutshell, i can heavily recommend this resort and this is not our last stay for sure.
As name suggests, the Balcon del mar offers great views over the sea from a very elevated position near the Europa shopping centre of Puerto Rico. 2 pools, one heated, another unheated but the unheated has the pool bar. Decent sized apartments, service engineers were quick to resolve the two small issues which arose. Beds were comfortable, lots of storage space. I'll be back. Paid for parking very useful and small minimarket at reception selling wine, water and essentials.
It’s the second time we choose Ura Lara and we will come back again. It’s very quiet and calm which is what we are looking for during holidays. The apartment is a bit far from Puerto Rico town centre around 30 minutes walk but we rented a car for more flexibility otherwise the taxi is 5 euros. A really positive point for us it’s that is not allow to smoke on the common areas! Everything is excellent and the sunset and views are amazing!
1st time not staying at a hotel in holiday, totally loved the homely feeling, was a bit hard getting in the property at first, some sort of mix up, but it was genuinely like being at home but having the sunshine and being so close to Puerto Rico main town, taxi back up at night was never more than €4, will definitely visit again.
The apartment has a fab location, 5 to 10 min walk to beach. We had a lovely large balcony with a sea view. The staff are lovely and really helpful. Its in a quiet area, that really suited us. Its not too far to walk to puerto rico but a taxi is cheap and the restaurants deliver as well.
The location was great and very central, the beach is reachable by foot, the shopping malls are easy reachable and if you wanna explore the night life of puerto rico, you are basically in it. The swimming pool is also a very nice plus! We had a great time over the christmas holidays.
This hotel was spectacular. I would have guessed we were walking into a 4* hotel. Could not have asked for more. The restaurant on site was also great and the cocktails were lovely. Close to both the Europa Centre and the large market in Puerto Rico.
We had a great stay in this hotel for 6 days. For us everything worked and the all inclusive was even more than what we expected, especially the selection of food in the main restaurant. Great views from the seaside rooms. Rooms were well cleaned.
Very good location, close to Playa de Amadores and Puerto Rico, fresh food, friendly staff, very nice apartments, nice pool, Layla from supermarket is super friendly. Thank you Bahia Blanca. Hopefully see you again this year.🌞:)
The location is excellent, the staff were very helpful and efficient with any requests we had. The facilities were amazing, the food was great, ours kids had a great time at the disco each night. I would highly recommend this hotel.
the bus station was right in front of the hotel so arriving was very easy.
the service was nice and professional and helped us very well.
The employees all were familiar with English and it really helped the communication
Cozy appartment for a family, great location, lovely view to the beach and the city. Everyday cleaning and towel change like in a hotel. Kitchen with all ammenities. We loved our stay there for full 2 weeks.
The hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly and the café was cheap and food was nice and the girls working there were brilliant doing their job. Definitely be back
Fantastic hotel, gorgeous food with good variety available. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Easy access to the airport and local towns with nearby bus service.
