This is a very hand place to stay in Richmond, a 10 minute walk from the station. The best thing of the stay was the bacon at breakfast. It tasted like it had just come off the grill, fresh, hot and not at all overcooked as you in many other hotels. I had orange juice, coffee, toast and marmalade, bacon sausage and egg but there was much more in offer. My room, at the top of the house was very big with a good sized double bed. The bathroom was a bit small but had clean towels and plenty of hot water. It has the advantage of being an inn with the pub downstairs. Last orders was 22:30 so no noise at night.

During my travels through London, I have experienced numerous accommodations, and I must commend the Selwyn Hotel for making a truly remarkable impression. The atmosphere was exceptionally warm and welcoming, a perfect respite following our journey from the States. The comfort of the beds significantly enhanced our first night's stay.
Located in Richmond, the hotel was an ideal base for exploring local sites. The staff consistently extended a warm welcome, making our visit even more enjoyable. The manager personally ensured that we were well cared for, further exemplifying the hotel's commitment to outstanding guest service. Each staff member we encountered was both friendly and professional.
I am eagerly looking forward to my next visit to London, during which I intend to return to the Selwyn Hotel. This stay was a standout experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking exceptional hospitality.

Didn’t get chance to see more than the park but it was worth the stay just for that. We were visiting for a sporting event nearby and we were perfectly situated. The surrounding area looked lovely, very green and clean. Walking in London and seeing wild deer is a must

Beautiful place.
Beautiful place. Loads of lovely small back streets with unique shops to wander down. Loads of places to eat out. Views from the bridges were amazing. Everything once parked up just seemed within walking distance.

We liked the restaurants and cafés.
We liked the restaurants and cafés. There are many interesting places to visit nearby. We enjoyed Syon Huse, Osterley House and the London Wetland Centre. It's an easy train journet to Waterloo Station for Central London. I wouldn't want to live under the Heathrow flight path.

The people that run the property are fabulous, some of the nicest people anywhere, also, this is a pub hotel, enjoy a beer or cider while checking in. We enjoyed a great breakfast every morning and it is included but we ate dinner there both nights that we stayed. The dinners were delicious and there was plenty of food. The location was also great, it is halfway between the train station and Richmond Hill Park. Listen to Pat for directions, he is very helpful. The room was large and everything worked.
Room was very nice size and fully equipped with mini fridge and excellent drink choices, chocolate and biscuits, coffee maker, toiletries, iron, hair dryer, slippers and robes. Hotel has a wonderful restaurant with outdoor terrace and nice staff. Location is right by the river and hiking trails, easy 10 minute walk to restaurants and stores. Whole Foods is about 20 min walk.
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back.
Classic British house, maybe Victorian-age built. Nice and quiet neighborhood. Tesco supermarket and subway station close by. Friendly hosts. Clean and cosy room with private bathroom. Free wireless internet and many electric devices available (ex. frigde, hair dryer, microwave oven, kettle, TV etc.). Best quality/price ratio in all London. I may return next year if AELTC will provide me another Wimbledon Centre Court ticket.
The hotel location is superb , however it was a but like a cruise ship, great front but then when you go to your room it’s like a ship . The room was okay but very very hot , small but it’s London . After 2 nights we were ready to go . Little but student accommodation size .
The staff were fantastic . The breakfast okay but the location is the winner,
Beautiful, well appointed hotel in a superb location - practically at the gates of Richmond Park and a short walk from the bustling town centre and gorgeous riverbank walkway. It's a well-heeled part of London with a laid back feel perfect for a relaxing weekend break and the Richard Harbour Hotel is the perfect base to explore it.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. We liked the communal seating area. The place was beautifully clean. Richmond is very convenient for some stately homes and the London Wetland Centre. There is good train service to central London.
We love the place as it feels like coming home. As we were members of the lensbury and lived very close to the lensbury club as well. Perfect location for enjoying Teddington or going into London.
Good location not far from Richmond town.
Bus stop right outside the hotel to tube station to central London.
Rooms comfortable clean and good bed
Nice full English breakfast.
Clean and smart hotel. the location is fantastic - opposite Richmond Station with regular 20 mins trains into London Waterloo. Great breakfast and helpful staff
Location was good, handy for Twickenham as well as tube to central London. Inclusive parking is a plus. Communication with the owners with prompt and clear.
