At the hostel, rooms are equipped with a patio. All rooms at Hotel El Turista are fitted with a private bathroom and bed linen. Great little hotel. Good location and wifi. Secure parking a few minutes walk. Wifi worked well. Staff are fantastic. Hot shower.

At Hostal Villa Cecilia all rooms include bed linen and towels. Very simple hotel - was a great value at less than 1/2 the price of anything else listed on Booking.com in Villavieja. Don't expect luxury, some small details weren't the best in the world (bed was hard), but for a traveler looking to experience the desert on a budget it's just fine. Very principally located to the main plaza - where the bus drops you off from Neiva, where there are restaurants and where you can find transportation to the desert. We were happy with our decision to stay in town instead of the desert.
