The hostel was very clean and cute, with a large kitchen and a very cozy lounging area. The staff were incredibly hospitable and accommodating and took time to give us tips on what to see in the city during the day and provided a thorough list of restaurant and cafe recommendations (including a very nice cafe just two doors down!). Don’t miss out on walking around Malang itself - it’s a really fun town. We would absolutely be staying here again when we have the chance to return, and would wholeheartedly recommend it to others.

They're great to chat with, always within reach and offering help from bookings to trips even in the next destinations. There's a homey, comfortable social atmosphere, delicious also vegetarian food options (for a good price), and great tour deals. I joined their Mt Batur and waterfall trips, both of which were great. As the place isn't that big, it's also peaceful to sleep.

I've never been to a hostel with such helpful staff. They helped us book the tour to Ijen, booked us a bus to Malang and supported us at any time with any questions. All the employees were always in a good mood and asked about our well-being.
