Out of the Blue has a perfect location so you can easily reach every point of the island. It's far away from the noise and only 3 minutes walk from downtown. Dorms were nice with comfy beds. Complimentary breakfast was the best I’ve ever had. Location was great. The hostel organizes tours for 30€. Loved this place so much!

The units at the hostel feature air conditioning and a wardrobe. I had a wonderful stay! The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I was initially unaware that I booked a place with a shared kitchen and bathrooms, but since it was only shared among four rooms, it wasn't an issue. In fact, it was nice to chat with the other travelers. The common areas were impeccably cleaned daily and were absolutely beautiful. I loved the complimentary coffee pods, which made my mornings delightful. Additionally, having access to a washing machine was a fantastic convenience.

The accommodation offers a shared kitchen and an ATM for guests. First of all the lady who manages the hostel is an amazing person. She gave me a lot of information and made sure my stay was just perfect. The room had comfy bed and nice terrace on the Monte Brasil. Amazing breakfast. Super good position, in the middle of city center and very close to a public free parking lot.

Great value, especially for the price. We had everything we needed (maybe a coffee machine would be a good addition, but there's a good cafe at the ground floor). Everything was clean and functional, and the location was also very central. Recommended!

Located around 600 metres from Sargentos Beach, the hostel is also 800 metres away from Small Beach. Certain rooms at the property have a patio with a city view. This was one of the best places I have stayed in 12+ years of traveling. the owners, Joseph and Mena are incredibly kind. The view is beautiful, the town is so cute, and I cannot wait to come back.

Good location very close to the harbor and 10-15 minutes by car to the airport. You can walk around Horta. Nice staff. Although the breakfast is not included they offer coffee for free. Big rooms with a lot of space, garden, living room and kitchen to share.
