Natasja was so welcoming when we arrived. She was happy to organise game drives and the boat safari for us and share her tips for the area and give us recommendations for nice restaurants. As two 30-year-old girls traveling together, we felt very safe at the lodge. When we mentioned something was broken in the room, it was fixed straight away. The rooms were perfectly cleaned every day while we were out exploring. The braai and outside kitchen was our favorite thing to come back to, to cook our dinner and relax with a glass of wine watching the sunset and scenery from our little patio. We will definitely recommend the lodge to friends and family and we hope to be back very soon! Thank you :)

The owners Jørgen and Lisbeth have done a fabulous job to allow us to experience this moment in the wild.

This place is a little gem. Perfect location, right next to incredible reserves in greater Kruger. One day we woke up to giraffes right at our doorstep. The owner is absolutely lovely, helpful and attentive to every detail. She helped us arrange all our outings, food orders and everything we asked. The food she made was the most delicious we had in South Africa, even compared to our 5 star JHB hotel. We are vegetarian and have some food allergies and she catered to every need. The room itself is gorgeous with one indoor and one outdoor shower, and one indoor and one outdoor bed to watch the milky way at night and hear the lions roar. Truly magical.

Beautiful accommodation and as a female solo traveller I felt extremely safe. The hosts were very welcoming and caring and the game drive offered was very informative. Great breakfast too! The room with the spa is by far the best and most outstanding. We were lucky enough to get it for one night in our stay and will certainly spring for it next time. The property manager was quick to help us with any issues or planning logistics. Staff, especially Amu were so sweet and nice to be around and helpful. It was a great place to stay and for great value. We would spend a week here if we could!

It´s very romantic setting and a perfect place for couples. Sabine and her staff will go an extra mile to make your stay perfect. The lodge is also a great starting point for tours to the Kruger national park, the Blyde river and other sightings. Dont miss this lodge.
