Staying in the CBD means public transport right outside the door. No need to find and pay for parking - expensive to do so. public transport is cheap compared to Brisbane. A lot of attractions still in walking distance. Some places provide a discount for attractions and parking a car at the hotel. Not all hotel rooms have kitchenettes, so that is a con.

A marvelous city! The weather was perfect, probably above average for an autumn, but it made the impression of the city even better. The beaches are absolutely fantastic! Location is excellent. One of cheapest hotels in Sydney with awesome views. Great pub downstairs. And there’s another bar on L4 with a number of lounges to sit in. Restaurant/bar on L5 but more formal-no flip flops allowed. Lovely staff and old historical building. Walk outside literally down some steps and you’re on the harbour. 15 minutes walk to opera house or you can cut through The Rocks area and walk in 5 minutes. The city is 10 minutes walk the other direction so everything is nearby.

I love this hotel. It is beautifully presented, the beds are amazingly comfortable, the staff are wonderful. The rooftop bar/work area is lovely. Yes the rooms are small but if you just want a place to come back to after a day I Sydney, it's great. We stay here all the time because it's right above the Wynyard train station, and you can walk to the CBD, Darling Harbour, Circular Quay, and the new area north of Darling Harbour which I forgot the name of.

Location right near domestic airport is reason we use it. Have done so several times & will do so again. It has a fast & reliable airport SHUTTLE, the reason why I selected this hotel originally. Having a good shuttle is my number one NEED, especially in these times of RAIL STRIKES & Taxis getting harder to locate at Central & UBERS even harder to contact .
