It was very close to the airport, which is exactly what we needed for this stay. They have an airport shuttle, which we did not need, but it's great to know it is available. The lounge/restaurant was fabulous and relaxing.
This 4-star deluxe hotel is a 5-minute drive from Dublin Airport, with a free shuttle to and from the airport. It has luxurious rooms, free internet and good bus links to the city centre.

It was busier and bigger than I expected but offered all needed. The Swords Express Bus service works really well. You need exact coins as no change nor card facilities are offered on the bus. Swords is the perfect destination for exploring the area; being close to the airport and for frequent trips into Dublin. It also gives easy access to the Motorway if you wish to explore a further afield.

We chose the Old Borough Hotel because it was easy distance to the airport. We have been to Wetherspoons on many occasions so know what to expect meals/drinks wise etc. Was super impressed with the hotel accommodation.

if like me you need this for a layover at Dublin Airport, don't choose this one. It's not on a bus route or walkable so you have to take a cab, which added $20 to my stay. The curtains didn't close all the way and I happened to be on the first floor looking directly at peoples cars. One of only two USB ports didn't work but thankfully one did so I could set an alarm and make it to the airport on time.

I was extremely excited to go to this hotel from the pictures that I viewed and was deeply disappointed when we arrived. Our room looked nothing like any of the photographs. I would never have stayed there if I saw the quality of the room. I will not be back.

Good place for breakfast is the Gourmet Food Parlour for dinner go to the Wine House.
Good bus services and plenty of taxis
Do not stay at the Travel Lodge near the Airport
A good place to stay is Roganstown Golf and Country Club
We stayed in the room for people with disabilities. The bathroom was large and spacious which was helpful. The rooms were clean and we especially liked having our own private balcony with table and chairs. The location was wonderful and let us experience the Swords area. We walked to the Swords Castle ruins, the St. Columba Cathedral, the Old School House, and up and down Main St. It was all close by and gave us something to do since we were only in Swords for one night. We also enjoyed the band playing Irish music in the Pub.
I did not avail of the beautiful breakfast on offer as we had to catch a flight at Dublin airport which very convenient only 15 minutes away. I must add the owner made sure We had something in our stomachs and had fresh fruit bowl ready for us. I have travelled far and wide within the island of Ireland using BnBs but this is in my top 5 to stay at. Mary the owner went above and beyond her duties to print out paperwork we needed to board our flight during the covid restrictions. We will be back.
Old Borough is near the Dublin airport, and a village to see outside the city of Dublin. I liked the walk on streets and the history of the place and the Old Borough. It is the combination of a pub and a hotel with limited accommodation; our room was very quiet and good for one night. It was easy to take a taxi to the airport early in the morning. The staff we met were very helpful.
A curiosity: there was one window in the room and it was in the ceiling!
Lovely rural location with nicely landscaped grounds but convenient for Dublin Airport and the nearby town of Swords for further amenities.Lively bar which is a popular dining place for local people, always a good sign.We didn’t eat there but the food looked good.We stayed the night before a flight from Dublin Airport and it was much better than the “chain” airport hotels which tend to be soulless. The room was comfortable and well appointed.
First of all, the hotel is perfect, very clean and very well maintained.
Everything is perfectly indicated for key collection and room entry.
The person in charge of the hotel is very kind and professional.
It's a 10/10 all is perfect, I recommend you to go there.
What's more, the center of Dublin is about 20 minutes away by cab.
Thank you very much!
Convenient to Airport and there was a nice pool. Breakfast was fairly typical - a good Irish breakfast.
The staff were all helpful and very nice. If you had time for a round of golf, it would be a great place to stay. Since we arrived late and had to leave by checkout to catch a flight, I probably would pick another hotel next time.
It was great to have food options just below our room, but the food was just fair. The rooms were conveniently located and everything was to our expectations for the most part. The hotel provided extremely easy access to the airport and since we had a rental car, it was great that there was a gas station just down the street.
Beautiful cottage, the location was perfect only 15 min away from the airport, generous breakfast with gf options available and Dan was also an amazing host! It is the perfect place to stay if you’re looking for somewhere close to Dublin airport. We will deffo be back, thanks for the help this morning!
The owner was very helpful and friendly. We could walk to the bus stop and travel all over this part of Ireland, switching to trains when needed. It was in a rural setting but easy to get to Swords by bus. The breakfast was great and the decor was beautiful.
A great value hotel only 3 kilometres from Dublin Airport. There is a shuttle bus every half hour between the hotel and the airport. The room was lovely, comfortable and clean. The staff were very accommodating and helpful during check-in.
Really enjoyed staying with Mary and Jimmy for our last night in Ireland before flying out of Dublin. Everything was very cozy and very convenient to the airport. Breakfast was delicious. We only regret that couldn’t have stayed longer.
Close to airport, walking distance to downtown swords, some things were older and very cute, but still very clean and comfortable. Mostly quiet hotel. Front desk was always helpful.
Swords is cute with its own castle and downtown.
Friendly check in, nice clean room. Nothing large or spectacular, but good functional hotel room for being close to the airport at a good price for the area. Certainly would stay here again if needed room near Dublin airport.
everything! the staff was great, especially Julia!
one of the owners, Joseph, gave us a ride into Swords our first day there. he was filled with suggestions that were all great!
we would definitely stay with them again!
The hotel is excellent. Staff is very cooperative. We were so tired slept and then caught next morning flight. Best place to stay if you want to catch early morning flight from Dublin and you are coming from other city
Location, Dan was very thorough with Directions to locals spots In Swords and bus routes to Dublin. Very clean and comfortable room. Breakfast very convenient already in your room.
Excellent staff and fantastic convenience to the airport. Lots to do on Swords Main Street. Recommend this hotel if you have a weekend or short stay-over in Dublin. Thanks all.
